Many things happened last week. Attempted to blog a few times, but not successful (busy, busy, busy....) The events and fustration that built up over the last 2 months reached the peak last Wed early morning. Was suppose to fly (to Germany) on Wed 2pm. Slept at 930pm on Tues night, so only saw my sms at 430am on Wed morning that meeting was cancelled so I don't have to fly that afternoon.

Anyone watch the TV series "Flash forward" on Ch5? The "symhpony of lights" was kind of featured in the show. It seems like a great idea, lazer beams and buildings with lighting display that "dances" with the music. But somehow, the actual display is so-so only to me. Lynn's 3yrs and 3 months now, and she can tell time!! I think its quite amazing! Yesterday at noon time, (I can't remember what we were talking about) she looked at the clock for a while, and told me that "its going to be 1 o'clock soon". Very happy with the progress this week.  Not because she did not cry; she still does, but there's definately improvement.  We are half way there I think... On Saturday (9 Jan), the 3 of us attending a BBQ gathering of WK's ex-colleague.  While he chatted with his friends, I was happy to just eat my food and watch out for Lynn while she played at the pool beside the BBQ pit.  It was very nice of him to arrange for a surprise cake and flowers for me, cos I did not expect it.  Of course he got teased by his male colleagues for "spoilt the market".

Lynn's been at the cc for 4 weeks already (just can't believe how time flies!!!).  The first 3 weeks were short weeks due to lots of holidays; she only attended school for 3, 4 and 2 days respectively.  From this week (which is the start of school term) onwards, it will be all 5 weekdays per week. These photos were taken on 29h Dec (Tues).  On Christmas Eve (Finance dept party), I've wanted to ask the rest to go around Chartered (eg lobby) to take photo, cos Chartered logos will be taken down for the new Global Foundries Logos  But I was too busy, and everyone were in a hurry to go off early.  On 29th when I came back from the long weekend break, most of the logos were already taken down.
